Management and Client Contact

Richard Pepper - Founder and Principal
Rick oversees all projects undertaken by Aha!Visual. He provides creative
direction and is frequently a project's lead animator. His more than 10 years
of animation and design experience combine an art and video production
background with extensive computer knowledge.

Before launching Aha!Visual, Rick was principal of Flying Pepper Design Inc.,
a graphic design, animation and effects services company. Rick has in-house production
and post-production facility experience and has also worked for NBC and the
Turner Network. He has won awards for animation, art direction and graphic design.
Rick graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in broadcast communication
arts. He has studied graphic design from the University of California at Berkeley and
Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. He is a current and active member of ACM/SIGGRAPH.

3D Animators and Compositors

Miles Bellas is a versatile artist who has worked on many
productions since completing his master's degree at Savannah College of
Art and Design. He has worked on animation and effects for the films Fifth
Element, Titanic, and his most recent work,
Lord of the Rings, where, among other things, he established the "look" of Gollum.
Miles has also worked with us on various descriptive animation projects for
NASA.

Matthew Muntean specializes primarily in character
animation. Animation projects Matthew has worked on include
a talking dog in a Froot Loops commercial, city life in our
Moffett Field fly-through for NASA, Stevie Stardust,
Robots of Mars, Evolution
and Blade II.

John Francis Leo Is our architectural expert. He holds a B.A. in Architecture from the Kent Institute of
Art and Design in Canterbury, England. He has several years' experience in
architectural previsualization in Sweden, England and the United States. He relocated to California in 1997
where he started Maraizon International.

Illustrators

Kurt West's illustration and design work has been recognized with awards including
Northern California Addy Awards and Sonoma County Ad Club Sadie Awards.
With over 18 years' experience in illustrating, designing and visualizing information.

Interactive and New Media Specialists

Richard Fenton produces innovative and creative interactive projects that
push the limits of motion and sound for the web, CD-ROM and DVD. Richard
has created projects for companies such as Apple Computer, Adobe, Intel, SGI and
Cisco Systems.
